Doesn't the forum seem more...decent?...these days?
Seems to me that people are pretty much getting along, there are some good posts being made, advice being shared, etc and that a lot of the bullshit we've seen in the past is at a low right now.
Or is that just my perspective?

Thanks for the vote of confidence bajaman... I think that the users are ultimately what makes the forum and thankfully we have some of the best ones here.
As for the staff, we've added a number of what I think are very "liberal" mods in the last year. I hope that has helped bridge the gap between the users and the staff. I know many of us have sought to bring a "friendlier" forum to the masses.
We have more "assigned" roles within the team to address issues, so hopefully less is falling through the cracks, although with thousands of posts a day the users are still our primary eyes and ears.
Culture change is something that doesn't happen overnight, you have to work at it one day at a time.
