Thumbs up Buyer Beware section ???

the buyer beware section would be for non rx7club deals... like cars on ebay or a local news paper add... a member goes to look at a mint car and finds out it is bogus. i post beware threads ,but i know it is not reaching the whole club audience.

Interesting idea.

We have the non-technical sections that these things can be put in but I don't believe the 3rd gen forum has a non tech section.

I think that locally oriented bogus deals and warnings are something that would typically be most useful to local users via the regional forums.

It would seem to me that warning users about Ebay or other nationally advertised means is pretty futile. I'd suggest threads like that might be best served by posting in the Bad Guy forum as that is where users are most likely to look before they shop anyhow.

How about letting new members being able to contact you (members) that have items for sale without having to post 5 times. You may be able to sell your items faster.

New members can PM someone with a classifieds ad regardless of if they have 5 posts or not, they just can't post in a classifieds thread without it being moderated and approved by a moderator of the section.

This has radically reduced the scammers and spammers.
