Here is waht I do: attach it on a post. save the small thumbnail, then there you have it. you can also use photoshop. I dont' really want bigger avatars cause each thread will take forver to load.

200 or 250 is way too big. 150 is a decent size, but I think that the server space could be better utilized with the avs the size they are now and the rest of the space for information.

The best of both worlds... have the small avatar pics... but if you click on the pic, it would open a new window with a larger blown-up picture.

The file size limit used to be 10k for some reason they dropped it to 6k.

I lost my old avitar, vida to that bs.

I'd pay to have all these bs limitations removed.

We seriously need to have paid accounts with less limits and no advertising.

the bandwith space is better used for other stuff than the pic you like to be known by in all honesty

have everyone pay 1 dollar a month.

1 dollar isn't anything, but it does add up, just look at how many members there are.

this would also be a good way to clean up all of the un-used accounts that are just taking up space.

it's fine the way it is. Any bigger and those who don't have DSL will spend hours loading a page......

Are we talking about more pixels, or larger file sizes? If it's the latter of the 2 then you can host your image on another site. I use imageshack for my avatar.

I think things are great the way they are. Leave it be. There is no reason for bigger avatars. Suck it up and be a man. This isn't a forum for avatars, it is a forum for rx7's.
