We've been working today and managed to recover pretty much everything ... the data for the missing sections is still on the database and just fine, but for some reason vBulletin isn't picking it up. We have an open problem ticket with vB, and hope to have the problem fixed asap.

Until then, I guess you can use this section as the Lounge. Please just try to keep the number of new threads to a minimum until the real Lounge is back up.

Buy a SAN, they only cost somewhere around $100,000 for an entry level array...

A board like this wouldn't need a san, 4x 15kscsi 320u's in raid 10 and using good caching methods (which vb has a few api's by default) would be fine.

vb just blows.
