Will I pass emitions without Airpump

I am looking to pull my airpump out.

Will I be able to pass emitions with the airpump out?

I have stock cat on the car still, but will be replacing it with a hi flow one in the near future.

Can I just swap the stock cat in and out to pass emitions even with the airpump out?

Likely not.

I did a T2 swap into a S5 vert once and the owner wanted all emissions equipment in place. I had the air pump on, but no belt running to it (do'h) and it failed horribly. The only thing I did was put a belt on the air pump and the car passed no problem.

air pump helps the Cat do it's job,so I'd put it on.(just for the test!).

it depends what type of cat.
if the cat has an input for an air pump, then most likely you will need the air pump. but i'm sure it is possible without, just a lot harder...

Not with the stock cats - here's my proof:
