Smile Pretty sure I blew my diff

Need some advice here, I go forward lots of noise coming from rear end car won't move, I go backwards, it makes a little noise, but reverses. I'm sure I blew the diff, but can anyone tell me if I have to replace the guts, or the whole rear end. Is it something I can do myself, or do I have to drop the whole rear end. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Tony

Are you sure its not a universal in the pilot shaft. I had similar symptoms 2 times and just had the P/S rebuilt.

aslong as the case is not broken or damage u will be able to reuse it. replacing the diff is fairly simple but u must shim it to be within factory specs with the right backlash. the diff will need to be removed from the car!
