What do you think is more appealing to the opposite sex?

Got a first date with a girl I just met and was wondering if I should either:

Drive the vert

Or

Drive the coupe

And I know trying to show off with your car to girls is not cool but just wanted some opinions.

Both are really clean. Just trying to get that extra edge (no I'm not that bad with girls) then again trying to get an edge with a car that smells like gas all day maybe it would be best if I took the bus haha

My car is like the girls I date..a little 'dirty'..But good to look at!.(NO offence Ladies!).
Seriously If you are using your car to impress a girl you are going about dating the wrong way.
It's YOU that is important, and if they only see your possessions as a judgement of what and who you are then they are not worth the Price of a Big Mac meal.
Pick a car, pick her up in it,and go out. It's that simple.
It if is a hot day,use the Vert. There is nothing that turns girls off more than having to smell Manly Armpit stench especially on a First encounter!!.If you pick her up in the coupe, "Jazz it up" a bit with some Cologne and deodorant!...lol!.
You know how hot it can get inside a coupe in summer..and I am not talking about Later on into the date!

I agree with everything you said.

You're right. Time to use the vert :p.

The convertible, but with the top up. Some girls don't like to have their hair messed up – this gives you either option without the risk of annoying her.

Probably the vert - women tend to better like cars that are less "aggressive" looking - verts are a nice clean looking sports car, but I think most would perceive them as "friendlier" looking. And purely anecdotally, I have seen a few women driving verts, but almost none driving coupes - my car (a NA!) was owned by a woman for 1 year, before she apparently decided it was too much car for her.

Along with all the other comments above - including that if your car impresses the lady particularly much, she might not be a lady worth impressing. Make sure the interior is clean - it doesn't need to be show car clean, but not many people are cool with climbing in among a month's worth of fast food wrappers, grit, and expired french fries. I know I wonder if a rodent is going crawl out from under something...

I would never take the FD on a date run. You're trying to get to know the girl. And if they see you pull up in that type if vehicle first time, you're not going to win any points.

This being said, nothing tests a worthwhile relationship than showing up in a miata. Lol

The guys are right about one thing. The girls love convertibles. They don't care what type of car it is, as long as the roof goes down. They'll be impressed, but at the sometime they know you're not trying to pull a fast one on them. Especially if you pull up in a miata. Lol

Everything went well. Went to go see the dark knight.
Then walked around for a bit then went for a cruise.

She liked the vert but didn't notice it was a vert until I pointed out the top goes down (showed up with it up)

Then the dreaded rx7 gremlins started appearing. I couldn't for the life of me get it to go into 3rd smoothly or sometimes not at all. Luckily it corrected itself before I dropped her off. Brakes I guess finally reached a wear bar since now they squeek.

Other than that "bitches love verts" lol

Oh and a funny side note.
I didn't know my seat had adjustable height lever and I was in the most awkward position until I figured it out lol.

does't matter what you drive. its usually about how big is your wallet and how big is you man hood.

if your looking for easy girls, you better have nice rims.
i was at McDonald and a stupid kid with his Civic decided to park right next to me when i'm at the end of the parking lot with nobody around. the rusted piece of **** have those FASTS rims or something on it and very shinny next to my crappy FD with stock rims on it ( very sarcastic when i talk about my man Galvatron10000) but the cute chicks walking by were only talking about the Civic 50$ rims insted of the FD

Well you survived the date..and going to the Dark Knight!..That is 2 BIG points for ya.
BUT: I am gonna deduct ONE point from you,for taking the RX7.
Reason:fuel smell.
Outcome: 5 Years down the road a doctor will encounter little "Sally" who is addicted to Huffing Gasoline.
...Quote By Sally?.."it all started when I went on a Date and this Car smelled..well,Like gas..It stayed with me for days..It grew on me,and soon I found myself calling this Guy up and wanting him to drive me around in his car..Not because I wanted to be with him.Just because I missed that smell..I was Hooked!".
Sally now has 2 kids.
Her son "DJ-B.P."..and her Daughter Exxon..............and she lived....Huffily ever after.......(is it the end?????)

Glad it went well. In my experience the car is of very little importance once you've actually got the date, as long as it drives well and doesn't draw attention to itself. On average, she's paying as much attention to your car as you are to her shoes. Unless a) You have a car that screams "I'm a rich bastard" like a porsche or a lambo or b) your car is breaking down and presenting itself as unreliable, she will pay more attention to you than the car.

I contend that it very much is not about the size of your "wallet or manhood" (as galvatron said), or even about which car you drive. If she cares about the wallet or manhood, she's not worth dating.

Take her out in the coupe next time and see if she even notices there's a difference!

Oddly enough my vert doesn't smell like gas compared to my coupe.

And there was only 3 people in the movies watching the dark knight lol

Good to hear the date went well. I'm assuming there will be a second?

Big points for taking the vert and seeing the dark knight.
I went to see it yesterday. The IMAX theatre in dude bridge was full for the 3:40pm show. I can only imagine what the later shows were like.

Taking the coupe for the 2nd date.

I've never taken my 7 on a first date. I don't want to look like I'm showing off or to end up with someone who likes being driven around in something that looks good over being with someone they like
