Vacuum lines again and still and many many other issues

Iv been working on a "jdm turbo" swapped 89 gx we bought off a certain member here whos name I wont mention because I'm not the type to flame (though I cant say others wont)

The wiring harness that was in the car was nothing short of butchered, wires twisted together, solder only splashed on top. Cut wires T-ed into then cut off and left to hang. Injector wires still together only by the shreds of electrical tape half assed wrapped around them, and ohh I could go on.

In any case after a very regretful purchase we found out that the car was not quite as we thought it was, though Ill take the blame for that, I should have looked closer and not accepted excuses he made about certain things, I now have my self a **** box of a car that I need to get running right.

We have replaced and fixed 80% of the wiring and Im currently working on replacing all the old vacuum hoses with brand new hose, but nothing seems to match. If anyone can point anything out for me I would really appreciate it. Also if anyone who knows what their doing would like to come by and help one night that would be amazing, I wont ask you to get your hands dirty, knowledge is more than enough (there may or may not be beer in it for anyone who comes over to help).

Car is in Etobicoke and not mobile.

Sorry I feel as though I may have gone off a bit hard on the previous owner, talked to him tonight and hes willing to help point out what he can, which is nice of him. hopefully this all gets resolved soon.

When I was doing a Vacuum hose replacement I just took the whole rat's nest in and got the Auto Parts guy to match up what nipple fit what size of hose.
You should be able to find a Vac hose Routing thread on here.

I'm surprised that you just didn't rip all that **** off and go "big"..lol!

Spent a couple hours working on it tonight. Vac lines sorted and should be ready to fire up tomorrow
Turns out the motor I swapped in to this car had a really ghetto *** wiring harness installed. As I told Mr.Cool , if I knew it was like this from the start. This car would have never been sold like this.

I learned that buying "complete" second hand motors can really screw you and your reputation up serverly and from now on, I think I will avoid selling engines anymore. Only small parts of such.

Although it makes me really sad that I was not notified of any of these issues prior this thread started, I place myself in his shoes and have offered my full support where I can. I could just walk away and pretend that this isn't my problem anymore however, I have somehow built a fairly positive reputation here and I know it is not the right thing to just ignore the situation.
I never wished for anything like this to happen and if I have to bear the concequences of getting booted or flamed, so be it.

Dave if you could close this thread or possibly delete (highly doubt could be done) with Mr. Cool's permission , that would be nice
