Trans Am RX7 Finishes in Top 10 Again!!!!!!??

Wow what a great result for the privateer RX7 in the VIR Trans Am Race. Results below;

ALTON, Va. - Results from Sunday’s 28-lap, 91.56-mile Muscle Milk SCCA Trans-Am Series Round Two race at VIRginia International Raceway, with finishing position, starting position in parenthesis, driver, hometown, car, distance behind winner, laps complete and reason out (if any).

Time of race: 1 hours, 1 minute, 35.052 seconds.

What is really interesting is that the car was 10 seconds off pole in qualifying and ended up 16th out of 22. They passed a bunch of cars that had mechanicals or crashes and ended up in 8th on the same lap as the leader!!!!! Way to go and it really flys in the face of the general belief in rotary unreliability.

Way to go and it really flys in the face of the general belief in rotary unreliability.
i dunno, seems like the rotary has always been good at one thing reliably. It reliably makes camaro n vette owners bitch to have rotary banned.
