Tuesday evening for me courtesy of Mercedes because I'd never pay to attend that ****. And Tuesday night because people standing 3-4 deep to stare at a car that any normal showroom in Toronto holds (usually) is ghey. They really need to charge $15, something more in line when you compare it to Detroit.

I would think Mazda Canada wants to sell current offerings.

I'll be there, but I'm skipping work on Friday to go .

Join the club, I'm doing the same thing! Kind of strange though....I work with cars everyday, and I'm skipping work to go see MORE CARS!

I must be strong... I really want a new 2009 STi in white w/ the gold wheels w/ the tech package... I even got an insurance quote and it would only be 600 more a year to go from my 03 Subaru Legacy GT to a 09 STi...

must resist!!!!

I'll be there on Saturday. Not sure if I'll be there during that time though.
And for anyone interested, various places offer small discounts.
For example, shell members get $5 off their tickets.

5 dollars off w/ CAA membership. Good for any day during the autoshow, unlike the coupons you get at the dealerships. I just came back... was a light crowd for opening day.

Damn! I didn't know that. I have a CAA membership. It was a fairly light crowd yesterday, but it made it very nice to walk around and see everything. Also if anyone gets to the booth where they're doing the tire changing challenge, try and beat my time of 31 seconds.

Is the autoshow this year worth it? I went last year and the highlight was mercedes showcase and the audi r8, other than that (and that wicked saturn sky and pontiac solstice combo) there was nothing special.

Should I go this year?

I went on monday with a friend. Pretty interesting. The crowds were starting to **** me off. Some people started pushing through the crowds so I had to push back at some points.

It was pretty good. Some nice Lambo's and stuff to see. There's like 4 new GTR's there, a few R8's. There was an awesome new Challenger R/T that was used at the Targa Newfoundland in the Chrysler showcase.
