I always wondered why/how people live in winnipeg? And here Iam thinking its -8 in Toronto and its freezing.

I was in north bay last weekend. -30 on friday night........I needed cardboard in front of the rad on the escort! Now thats winter baby.!!

yea , and a reverse wind chill of 80 degrees down wind of the fires .

I know ..... not funny

I thought toronto and that area was suppose to get like 30cm of snow. I think we got hit harder here in Bruce county. I'll have to take a picture of the snow we have in the morning. I bet we got somewhere between 12 and 18 inches.

well we just got dumped on here in winnipeg, and it looks like this guy who has been driving his fc in winter daily was able to still drive it today even with this snow.

yup.
WRX+winter tires is absolutely awesome.
although 19psi is a bit much for snowy roads even with AWD, so i have to keep my foot out of the throttle a bit, haha...

+ 1, sometimes i think that the only car for enthusiats to drive in the winter are subies an evo's.... this damn snow is killing me. I dont mind it being cold, its the DAMN windchill that makes me run back inside...

yeah, yesterday i actually hit 22psi @ 2500 rpm in 5th, i guess because of the cold air outside, haha.

it's still the stock turbo though (TD04). i have not got it dynoed, but based off the MAF grams/sec, my tuner tells me between 220 and 240 whp.
good enough for now...especially in winter. but possible turbo upgrade in the future. don't want to go too crazy, it is my DD.
