i checked the throttle cable and plates ...... im gonna go with a vaccum leak too...... also how long did it take you to throw yours in and get it running right ?
the day i turned the key really. but i found out my pressure sensor was plugged and i was running like 15psi and my clutch slipped. so i needed a new clutch and Presusre plate.

i payed 800 for the motor ... 130 for ECU and 25 for Pressure sensor. i payed 70 for the AFM. i payed 100 for the tranny and i have a limited slip custom N/A diff ..... came in car when i bought it. i have an ACT clutch 200 and i got a free driveshaft.....1225 i believe it works out too..... so its not bad ..... how much did you pay for yours ? if you dont mind
about 3k-4k, but i bought the diff drive shaft and such, 1000 for motor, 150ish for the rtek ecu, 260 for electronics. sitting at 500ish fo the 5 bolt conversion, that has to be installed. 200 for exhaust, 100 on paint. 520 for the act clutch. rest is misc. crap.
With regards to the original problem, the size of the vac leak required for the car to idle at 4000 rpm would cause it to not idle in the first place.
Like Nismo_convert said, throttle plates or cable is probably the issue. Also, make sure your intake plumbing is correct as well(there are no air hoses bypassing the throttle plates).

i checked it out ... no dead spos and i set it right to 1.000 and doesnt get past 6.000 ..... i guess it could still be bad i guess ..... this is really stressing me out .... i just want to boost hard and be happy with a proper running car.
Also could it be the throttle plates ?

if you have verified that the TPS "sweeps" correctly and then set it to the proper resistance, but you STILL think it's the TPS, then use the Mazda 2-light test method.
