Frank, i pulled the 15.9 a year couple of years before we went... when i was running stock size tires. when we went i had my smaller size auto-x tires on. thats why i was slower

I'm game planning with mad max to see if we can TWIN TURBO it .
its gonna be a long project.
My friend with the 5g bet backed out. It was apparently just **** talk, and he doesnt have the money to put where his mouth is.

I think the main reason we both did so bad was cause of that crazy humidity coupled with the lack of traction which the track is known for and the heat soak the manifolds took from sitting in line.

too bad i won't be able to see what i could have done with all the small problems fixed. LOL like a LIM to engine gasket blocking 50% of the ports on the side end irons!!

At the end of the year we are going to take our road race car to the strip and see what it turns, 2296lbs with 220 rwhp, sure hope it beats my 1987 5.0 Mustang thats run 14.00 at 99mph all day long.

 

it should smash 14flat.
with the right gearing, and traction off the line it should break JUST into the 12's
Unless I am REALLY calculating wrong.
