Finally got new Wheels! - Pics
Well, after owning the car for 9 years, and having everyone (including eViLRotor) constantly suggesting that I upgrade wheels - I finally got some new rims! Much of the "ottawa crew" were helping me find something suitable, and in the end I found these on eBay.
I ended up finding some used Old-School Volk Racing GR-C's off a Skyline that was imported to North America. They are 17"x7" up front and 17"x8" out back, with 215/45/17's all 'round. The wheels are in great shape and I think that the style really suits the car.
Once the weather gets better I can wash and wax the car properly, and take some pictures that aren't in the rain!
Hope you like!

Quebec plates for a Quebec resident.
Yeah, I wanted to put 225 or more on the back, but I couldn't pass up the deal I found. I bought all four of these tires from a guy locally. One was brand new - never mounted and the others had between 80% - 90% tread left, and it only cost me $300! I put the two most worn ones on the back so when they wear out I'll get wider ones as replacement.

Good job! The rims and tires look nice.
When you photochopped your license plate number out, you should have changed "Je me souveins" to "La belle Province" or something less offensive

Thanks for the compliments!
I'm really happy about how they look, and they feel great as well.
And you can see my nice new "Dew Strips" in the pics too - makes a huge difference over the old cracked and faded POS that were on there.

The rears are 17X8 with a +36 offset.
I'm sure I could run wider tires - especially on the back. For an NA I don't want to over-tire myself, so the widest I think I would need up front are 225's. The rears are a different story, but as I said, for $300 it was hard to pass up this set of tires. We'll see what happens when I need new rubber!
I'll give you guys a tip as well: I had the tires mounted at COSTCO of all places. Everywhere charges $15 - $20 per wheel for 17" and COSTCO charges $8. They used the proper adhesive weights and did a great mounting and balancing job. If you need tires mounted, I'd reccomment them - They are equipped to do up to 22"!
