what brand and type?

are you sure they're even rebuildable?
I'd try contacting the manufacturer, they could probably tell you who locally services their products.

You would have to contact either the dealer that sold them to you or JIC directly to find out if they are rebuildable. If not you'll have to replace them altogether.

I would think JIC coilovers could be rebuilt, which model do you have? If the leaking shock is off the car bring it by and I can tell you for sure. If they are rebuildable we can do it if the parts can be sourced. Shocks should be built in pairs if not all four, we would recommend all four be done at the same time.

It is not mine YET. I was about to buy it from a member. I will know the model later and post it. He said it is rebuildable and it was 1 of the rear shock that's blown. If i am going to go ahead with the rebuild...it will be all 4.

thank Jim, i will be intouch with you later.

George..you should take into consideration, the Cost that you would shell out to get the Set as they stand. Then add in the Factor that you would have to get them Rebuilt.you may find that the cost could get close to what a half decent set of Used shocks could go for,That don't need rebuilding,Or close to a New Set but another make...I may have a LEAD for you on a set in California, from a guy that gets them From Japan..If you want,Just say the word,I will look into it for you and see If I can get you a Set that wouldn't need rebuilding...WWE Tomorrow,so get a hold of me either Before 8 or after 11.30pm..STYX!
