I can get you 3" polished SS U-J bends for about $120 each and we also do ceramic coating.

any exhaust shop has 3" piping. Most higher end exhaust shop will have 3" mandrel bend sections.

Also Joe ... I too am interested in knowing how much you would charge ceramic coating the exhaust system ... I would really like to alteast have my headers done.

We can get satin black ceramic coating thats good for 2000 degrees done to any regular Honda header for about $300, we haven't had any RX-7 headers to have coated so we dont know what it would take to have them done. If anyone is wanting it done, we could give you a good price on the coating to see how much spray we need.

Keep in mind, a Honda header has 4 tubes and is usually alot longer than any RX-7 header, so chances are the N/A RX-7 header will be cheaper.

How good would the ceramic adhere to SS headers? The ones that i have are the SDJ headers.

If they sell Stainless pipe for $7/foot that is a GREAT price.

Keep in mind that you want tube and not pipe. So don't start calling around asking for pipe....

If he asks for pipe it will have a different diameter, than the tube. Pipe is a nominal size, and tube goes by the outside DIA.

Just do some research, and find out what has a larger ID, and go with that size. It's not like he's going to get yelled at, he will just get what he asks for.

That's sort of the point I was trying to make. 2" pipe won't line up to 2" tube.

Sorry I totally missed your post before. The ceramic sticks to the SS just like it would for any other metal. So your SJD header would be fine to have coated.
