Unhappy Stutter- can't get rid of it-

My care has a stutter that I can't get rid of....it happens under load..at almost any given RPM...2...3....4...5K.......It come and goes...does not always hapen at any given RPM....I have no vacume leaks and my injector grounds are good....
My fuel pressure is set to 35psi with the vacum on....(44 psi with the vacum off).....
Oh.....it's a turbo II engine and tranny in a 1st gen.....

anyone has any ideas....could it be the air flow meter...or some sensor/electrical problem....

Thanks
Ryad

Check all your grounds, there's a right on it in the 2nd gen archive.

Are you sure it's engine related? Not the driveline? What kind of stutter are you talking about?

I checked all the grounds....I also checked for vacum leaks.....The stutter is similar to the dredded 3800K stutter....when it happens my air fuel gauge runs lean.........The stutter is like a bog...that last for a moment or two......but it comes on at any RPM........I adjusted the throttle plates, up the fuel pressure to 40psi with vacum on, used a fuel injector cleaner and I found that the stutter is alot less...but still there.......
Yesterday, I noticed that after spending an hour in traffic in mid day on the 401, the car stuttered alot more than usual....coming out of the traffic.....last night coming home the car stuttered alot less......in both instances my water and oil temperature were the same.....I am thinking that it may have to do with the mass air....the air temp sensor inside the mass air......Am I off base......

What in the drive line will cause a stutter........i have a OS Giken twin plate clutch and pressure plate with a chrome molley fly wheel......a S5 tramission and a GSL SE rear end with 410 gears....

Stutter is vague, but a bog isn't the driveline, so you can rule that out.

Does anyone know what does the brown wire on the air flow meter do? Is it an input or output signal? What is the signal voltage? (S4 airflow meter)

Also, on the S5 engine, there is a ground box attached to the lower bolt of the clutch slave. Where does this ground go and what is it for?

Thanks for your help.

Just a guess as I dont know gen II motors well, but could it possibly be the coil pack for ignition?
