strange cas/timing issue

so guys i finally decided to go tackle my S4 it wouldnt run with the cas properly stabbed so i kept, restabbing it 1 tooth at a time till it ran i moved it about 3 clicks clockwise and it runs really well, but now when i throw the timing light on it, its no where near where it should be

i noticed that when i compared my jdm s5 t2 pully that it was different than my s4 na pully 1) the s5 is larger 2) the timing marks are in different spots

The eccentric hubs and pulleys are matching sets. You can't swap an S4 pulley onto an S5 hub, and vice versa. It shifts the timing marks. This has bit me several times so now I only store pulleys and hubs as a complete set and mark each as a matched pair.

Cause it has a really nasty Ping that could be timing related

I have a matched Pair I should swap them on? but its from A S5 T2 I know it bolts on I've only dealt with S5 stuff so far

It looks like who ever rebuilt it actually scribed a line on to the pully for where the timing should be, but I don't trust Other peoples work very often
