I was at the local Mazda dealer picking up an oil filter yesterday, and I noticed a 93 Japanese RHD FD RX7 parked on the lot near the service department. No licence plates. I asked the parts guys what was it doing there, and they told me that it did not pass for registration in Manitoba "because the steering wheel is too low" I noticed a Momo type steering wheel with a flat bottom mounted in the car. It was also missing a door mounted rear ( RH side) view mirror and they were looking for a replacement for that to comply with Manitoba regs. The original was on the passenger seat , not broken or anything. Has anyone heard of these issues with RHD FDs in Manitoba?
There was a guy in Winkler, MB who imported JDM cars, seems he is no longer in business.
