Stat gear berings

looking at the parts micro fiche, there is 2 options for the bearing o.s (over sized) and standard. i have a s5 t2 motor which of the two should i be getting.

The difference will be the inner diameter of the bearing itself. To know what you need you have to measure the main journals on your eshaft and then find out what dimensions those bearings are. I know on a piston engine you want about 0.0005" to 0.0025" oil clearance between the bearing and the shaft for proper lubrication. Not sure about the rotaries but I can't imagine them being much different. So basically pick the bearing to match your shaft so you get good oil clearance.

Hang on to those torrington bearings Dave. You never know when your engine will decide to eat one like mine did. Ended up as tiny shards of metal in the oil pan.
