Best run of the night for me was 12.75 @ 113. Damn, I need tires. Funny thing is on the 1st run I barely even launched and lazied it most of the way down the track, only going WOT when I hit 3rd gear. When I arrived at the tower, the kid handed me my time slip and said "You ran a 13.2. Follow the girl on the golf cart to the tower where they will get you a helmet". I had a helmet, but didn't wear it that run because I figured I'd run a lazy 14.

Martin, where were you?

There was also a V8 FC running between 13.6 and 13.2 or thereabouts. LS1. Seemed like a good conversion but it had a slushbox. Off the line it was a complete slug.

I was going to do a big ricer fly by when I first saw you back in town but the van got in my way hahahaha

Yeah you definitely need some stickier tires. they'll help out huge in the 1/8 mile , thats where you're losing all your time, you could make up a second there easily. its like snow tires vs all seasons in the winter time.

at the end of the night i would just roast the tires I kept getting locked out of gear, maybe the pilot bearing is on its last legs, I didnt end up replacing it when i rebuilt my engine just the seal after the winter it was stiff going into gears but cleared up
I've got a few videos i have to edit i'll post up later.

the LS1 FC was andyD on the forums here

ya sry guys i was heading there car was so so hard to start got it running. would idle like a pig. could not tune it for the line of me. i whent to pick up a friend shut the car off and she just would not start up. so i cleaned the plugs out put them back in same thing wont start. so i just held the starter in as it seamed to want to start the more i cranked it. well once it hit 1200RPM from the starter it started up so off to the flying J to meet up with a bunch of co-workers well when i got there she stalled on me and would not fire up. it ran great on the street. so i went to sams shop and found i have low compression in the rear housing. 2 sides are low so one stuck apex seal. this has happened in the past. and crown T-40 got them un stuck... so im hopping for a miracle once more.

now i must steal my fav Rx7 quot.
"GOD. Grant me the Serenity to hear my Engine start just once. Courage to hit BOOST and Wisdom to know when I have broke something..Amen"

well i pumped out the T-40, put the charger on 200amp start and she fired up with no prob... **** loads of smoke followed lol. so i took for for a 1H drive. runs like a top pulls hard, but i cant start it with the starter. it wont spin fast enough. compression still shows up as 50-25-25. i was able to hit 200km/h do a hell of a long burn out at 8000RPM untill the brakes could no longer hold the car in place pulled away from that hit 200 once more and drove her nice home tested the starter start once more still no go. start up fine if i get the RPMs around 1200 RPM. im thinking i need to tear it down and see wtf happened in side. thats a 175$ min fee. im going to give her an ATF bath and see if that wont clear her mind some but any one have suggestions?

even the 50 is pretty weak should be atleast 90-100 maybe you chipped an apex seal. what seals did you use?
check your front compression.mine would start on one rotor with the stock n374 ecu

That was funny...As we drove by the Tim Horton's St. Thomas "car club", I spooled the turbo a little. The officer behind me didn't even seem to care.

at the end of the night i would just roast the tires I kept getting locked out of gear, maybe the pilot bearing is on its last legs, I didnt end up replacing it when i rebuilt my engine just the seal after the winter it was stiff going into gears but cleared up

Checked for a bent shift fork? Strong clutches have been known to do that.

ATF won't help.

There is something wrong here...your car seemed hard to start after the autocross. Apex seals don't just "stick" unless the car has maybe been sitting for a long time, or driven in such a way that carbon builds up, and then it sits.

A compression of 50-25-25 would certainly be noticeable by ear when comparing one rotor to another. I've seen compression testers lie before and with 50-25-25, the car would idle very poorly and drive like a Geo Metro.

Check injectors first.

it does it once the traction goes away at night. i usually am done for the night after the first time it happens I kept trying that time when i should have just stopped.
I know I could use a new throwout bearing it was on the line for usuable/f-ed last year when I I rebuilt my engine. I already spend enough on the rebuild and didnt want to order one. I had enough trouble and extra trips with the other stuff
