I doubt he wants a shelving unit like I have. It is not stylish, but it really works.
I think he is looking for the fully molded in kind. I believe Mariah makes one. Wings West also has a number of wings as well including one that resembles the old style Plymouth Superbird type.

Hey, if it's functional it's stylish enough. Friend of mine is making me a front splitter...I should have it installed for Canada Day...should be interesting to see if it unbalances the car badly without a rear wing.

Shane, take it easy for the first few laps with only a functional front spoiler/ splitter 4 inches from the ground. The first time I ran my splitter (before I had the rear wing) the car was very nice over the hump going into Turn 8. The turn in into 1 was very nice but I had some oversteer on the exit, same in 2 and 8. Big issues in 4 though. As the car gets unweighted a bit anyways going over the ledge in 4 the front splitter really aggravated the issue and for the first few races I had at least 2 times a race where I was countersteering on the exit of 4. A real butt pucker moment for sure. I ended up having to change my line a bit to ensure it didn't happen again.
Just take it easy and work up to speed and be really aware in the faster corners that if you try to pinch off the exit, the car may start to rotate.
Ask me sometime about when I tried to take Turn 1 flat in 4th and pulled a muscle in my right elbow. By the way it can almost be done. I may try again later this year, with more rear wing angle.

Yikes, thanks for the warning Eric. Do you think it won't have as much of an effect on my car since my suspension is more compliant? Maybe I won't install it for that weekend after all. We only have 1 practice session and I'll be really tempted to push hard in the rest of the timed sessions. I can't imagine having to countersteer at the exit of 4...the thought of it gives me a pucker...
