Figured I would post this up here, been thinking we might be able to get one last meet and cruise together for the southwestern Ontario 7 owners. I was thinking the cruise route could be similar to the BCM saturday drive, maybe a bit shorter to fit things into one day. Others can chime in (Bass, Buggy) with a good meeting place. This time of year is great for cuising around the Grey and Bruce counties. Tons of great scenery and amazing photo locations.

I've never set up a meet or cruise before so I am kinda hoping the Bruce crew might chime in on this and hopefully support me.

This would be kind of a last chance for many I think to get out in the cars and just have some fun. Winter is fast approaching.

 

Depending on the time and weather I might attend.

 

Ya weather is the biggest problem this time of year. If you want to do a Grey-Bruce run I would actually suggest doing the old route from years before. It is basically what was the Sunday route from this year through the blue mountains area. Very beautiful this time of year with all the fall colours. Yesterday would have been perfect weather for it, but I was out on a road trip buying another rotary....

Ennnhhh... I'll wait and see what the date would be. It's getting real cold real fast and I wanna pull the entire underneath of the car apart this winter, so I may retire the dramaqueen early this year.

I'd be interested depending on the date. Haven't managed to make it out to a single meet because the days keep conflicting with other plans, hopefully this one works out.

Looks like there is a bit of interest. Unfortunately as I was typing out my original reply to this things came up filling every weekend until November for me, and unfortunately I am taking my 7 off the road first weekend of November and pulling the engine. Sorry guys, but doesn't look like I'm going to be able to organize anything this time around. Tis the way life goes sometimes.

Would be great just to have a meet anywhere between London and Toronto (better yet, a meet in Cambridge so I can save on gas lol). Seriously though, I've never even been to an RX-7 meet so I wouldn't know how to organize one.

I'd just say let's go to a pub or something, but that's not exactly a car meet.

Sorry that I didn't read this 'till now. That would have been fun. I haven't been on the forum for quite a while. I've been insanely busy with negotiations.

It happens every Thursday at 8pm, this week was at the Timmy's on Weston and highway 7 and I think it will stay there for the rest of the month. If anyone is planning on going, post up here so ill drop in as well. Hate being the only fd or fc rx7 there lol

 

Would have been nice to get a meet together, but waited too long to plan anything and the weather was definitely not on our side through October, and most people have their 7's put away in November, myself included. Maybe next year will work out better.
