ON Shock Dyno in the GTA/York Region

Does anyone know of a tuning shop in the GTA/York Region area with a Shock Dyno and good at corner weight balancing. Just installed a new set of Pettit Stage III coilovers and just want to get them perfect before the spring/summer driving starts.

I think you can only dyno a shock outside of the vehicle, so you'll need to now remove them to have them dyno'ed.

As for corner balancing, SG-Motorsport in Brampton. By far the best Sasha knows his ****. Also ask Sasha about shock dynoing, his buddy Andrew was getting a shock dyno last time I talked with him.

Thanks, I've heard them mention on a few racing forums, and there just around the corner from where I work. I'll give them a call and see when they can fit me in in the next few weeks a soon as the salt disappears.

cheers

Just be ready to spend a few $$$$$ at Multimatic. By the way, the last time I spoke to them about the Dynamic shocks on my Cougar, they said that they don't do any rebuilds or shock work for racers at their local shops. The shocks had to be sent to Haas in Chicago for rebuilds. They have all the equipment at the Newmarket location, but I don't know if they are doing customer work any more.

If you want a less costly option in Newmarket, check into Vic Simone's shop. He does decent work at a reasonable price and he can corner weight your car, do a very good alignment and his pricing is very good.

Thats' Simone's on Mulock Drive, Thanks, talk to Vic quoted me a price of $320-340 with a final alignment. The coilovers are brand new so no need for rebuilding at this point.
P.S. The price quoted is for 10-20% corner weighting not a shock dyno.
Thanks, everyone for their quick response. It great to see the community is alive and well in the dead of winter!

Just as a second option and for anyone else looking to have the same done, I just talked to Sasha at SG-Motorsport, he can do corner balencing and 4 wheel alignment for $200.
Dude knows how to setup a car.

Fantastic price and close to both of us! Good call Eric. And yes, for those handy to Sasha at SG him and his crew are solid at setup's.

Talked to Sashi today, if I can get 3 guys interested he'll open on a Saturday in April to do corner balancing and 4 wheel alignment for $200, that's with no unforeseen problem on any of the cars. PM me if your interested. Scottish order some Stance's last week and said he'd be in.
Extra if yours is the problem car!

Sent you a PM. Not sure if I require one cause mine was done in the past but I did remove the whole subframe and a few years of track and such maybe it would be a good idea?

^ Replied, but I would think after removing the whole sub-frame it would be a good idea. If in doubt give Sashi a call (905) 463-1483.

Bringing this back....

I just called Sasha, and they quoted 125 for an alignment. I will likely be heading there soon to make sure the car is all straight

Thanks for the phone #

FYI, Sasha's shop is closing down at the end of the year so now would be a good time to get your suspension setups done by him before the winter, that is unless the cars are in storage already.

Sorry to hear Sasha's shop is closing down!
That leaves Simone's Performance on Mulock Drive, here in Newmarket. Ask for Vic he does corner balancing as well used him last year, probably again this spring after I tweak the springs a bit more.
