It was great to see Ridicilous RX7 and a person from the RX8 club at the track yesterday! Ridicilous had some overheating issues and hope he made it home!
He was very fast on the track, and it was fun to play chase with him in the Scarboro Mazda Racing RX-7. We had a great test day and got our lap times down were they need to be. Hopefully (weather permitting) we will be at Mosport May 14-15 for the regional races. Ridicilous got to try a set of my R-compound tires and I think he liked them! Hope to see more of you guys at the track in the future!

 

defintly the funnest time iv had in a long time. couldnt believe how loud the 01 car is!!! quick too! the difference the tires made were unbelievable! 1:28's without and i ran a 1:25.9 with them! gonna buy a pair after a new radiator and fan...lol

When we switched to the real sticky tires and after some help from 23Racer and another race car builder, we ran some laps in low 1.18's! The car would go faster but I was chickening out in some corners! I'm looking forward to Mosport where we can really let it loose!

 

i would have been there but all these track days are durring the week when we are working!

 

i liked this lapping day alot because there was only 15 cars there so lots and lots of laps and everyone was getting to know each other and take drives in each others cars, as when i went to mosport theres groups of lapping with maybe 4 lap session, than wait an hour and just wasnt worth it... shannonville track is a really fun one!

Go figure, somthing cool finally happens on my day off and no babysitter...

Oh well, probably for the best. My trailing ignitor kicked the bucket yesterday anyways, so I probably would have gotten stuck out there...

 

how do you know when the lapping days are? I don't see them posted on their site...

 

i never know when lapping days are unless they are posted here or one of my friends tell me...
