Rx-7 Canadian original price

I've read a thread claiming that the original price for a 93 touring was around $36K US.

Does anyone know what they sold for in Canada?

Looks like the exchange rate in 93 was around 0.75-0.8 which would make it about $46-48K but there's always an extra mark up so did these sell for over $50K?

Don't forget to account for inflation
Maintenance - Bank of Canada

I don't know how much they went for, but I do know that they weren't cheap!

Exactly what I'm trying to figure out. I remember the seller when I bought my FD claiming the previous owner had paid $53K for my 93 touring back then. Trying to figure out if this is true and what that amount would be in today's dollars.

I have the original receipt for mine (95 PEP) $50,697.36 Oct 1995. I obviously have no idea about how the deal was negotiated . . .but for what its worth.

Adjusted for inflation that's approx. $72,664.29 in today's dollars. Wow. So FDs basically cost then what a Tesla costs now.
