Running Wires through the Firewall
I am just about ready to add in a new boost guage and am looking for areas to run it through the firewall. I looked on a couple of ocassions to bring it through the driver area but it seems that most areas will either cut the the firewall carpet material or hit a component. Does anybody have an suggestions or pics of a good location? I am not keen on pulling it through the main wire harness (drivers side) since the boot and cover is still in good shape and I dont want to cut it. I have grommets a drill and am more or less ready to go.
Thanks

There is a hole in the wall below and behind the glove compartment. It's for a/c tubing, but if your car didn't come with a/c, there will just be a rubber plug in the hole. Try that - I've used it for just about every wire I've had to run between the bay and the cabin...

no, not that one.
on the very left side of the car (right side if you're looking in the engine bay) right underneath your clutch m/c there's a bigass harness that goes through. It should be a piece of cake to get a boost gauge signal through there, I got a 1/0 AWG wire through!
