ON Rim sizing question

Hey everyone, I know that this will annoy most of you wheel gurus. I have seen the rim and tire size calculator that Jim lab posted but i cant get it for the life of me.

I came across my all time favourite rims: Advan RG2s...but the catch is the offset seems a lil low to me for my stock bodied FD

Rims size: 17 x 9.5 (F & R) + 25 offset on all fours

Tire size: 255/40/17

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance
Ken

I think you would have to be in the +38 to +50 range if the car is lowered, tire size would be ok

Thanks Jim, my car is moderately lowered at the moment with just springs...plan on hopefully Stance Gr Pro+ in the future

The reason I thought that these have a chance of fitting, theres a stock bodied FD running
17 x 10 offset + 25 seen in this thread: Post #114 User name OUN

Thats a 9.5, +12 with a 275/35/18 on it. Im sure with a little fender roll those would be fine.

+45 to +50 offset is the trick, no fender roll needed

If the tire is sticking out from the fender rolling the fender won't make a difference. If it was flush I would agree.

try that again...

As for the fender rolling, the wheels in question are a +25, mine are a +12. Also the rim is smaller along with the tire width. Just speculating but comparing to mine, I think they will fit with a roll.

If I remember correctly the perfect size for 3rd gen is:

17x9 +45mm offset front and rear.

You can then run 245/45/17 on all four corners.
