Canadian spec A-pillars

i bought a brand new S5 headliner to put in my S4 only to find out the S5 headliner isn't wide enough to tuck under the S4 a-pillars and from what i hear the S5 a pillars would have a big ugly gap if i put them on without the auto seat belts. so im wondering what i should do..and im also wondering if S5 canadian A-pillars are the same as American S4 a-pillars? or if the canadian uses the same headliner as our S5. maybe the canadian S5 a-pillars are wide enough to cover the headliner but they don't have the gap for the auto belts since the canadian spec rx7s never had auto belts.. i know this sounds confusing but i dont know how else to put it..

If you haven't already, you may want to post this in the 2nd gen section - I know the question has come up before (search will likely find it); it's usually Americans who have to worry about this - getting rid of the motorized mouse belts and putting in S5 Canadian spec interior trim. No one ever converts a Canadian spec S5 car to US trim, so less likely anyone in the Canadian forum has specific experience for your question.
