REDNECK Engine Pull....YeeeHaaaaaww!
Well I think one of the major reasons the motor went is that they installed the apex springs in upside down. This caused the apex seal to chatter and roll inside the rotor. Also keeps the corner seals at the bottom of the rotor etc flapping around etc.
Not to mention one apex seal spring was not even installed.
Oil seals were worn beyond limit. Apex seal springs were worn.

Mr. Cake and I helped Tyson do a redneck engine pull on the weekend. A pole from a floor jack and a chain were used. The engine was rolled into a Pontiac G6's truck, as it was not really the right size for the engine. 
It wasn't as much fun as Mr. Cake and I bringing an engine down the stairs to his basement on a toboggan.
