Re: RX Club of Ontario

Wow, can't believe I just wasted my time reading this.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...light=nigel20b

First thing I want to say is I don't intend this thread to be another facebashing thread. So be careful what you post in here.

Regarding the RX Club of Ontario: I think you've all forgotten or never had the direction that the club was intended for as described in our mission statement.

"The RX Club of Ontario is a self supporting community of Mazda rotary enthusiasts based in Ontario, Canada. The club is an online community as well as an organized car club that meets for special events and social gatherings.

The RX Club of Ontario committee consists of members who volunteer their time and money to ensure that the forum is properly maintained and to ensure that events and gatherings are run smoothly and to ultimately provide an entertaining community for all users/members. The committee meets every second Sunday of every month to discuss and organize all facets of the club. The structure of the committee is broken into several disciplinary sections, Forum, Media/Marketing, Sponsors, Events, RX Club Store, Finance.

The RX Club of Ontario is open to any suggestions, comments, and ideas. You may freely discuss your thoughts in the thread titled "Suggestions and comments" or come on out to one of our monthly meetings. You may also PM one of the committee members in charge of the respective disciplinary sections of the club.

The RX Club of Ontario is open to everyone regardless of whether they own a rotary vehicle or not. The RX Club of Ontario's mission is to provide a common place of entertainment for all Mazda rotary enthusiats in Ontario whether on the forum or in social events and to establish recognition such that we can all benefit from club discounts and membership."

When you talk too much and do too little you lose your focus.

Mike

God bless the anual "It's Winter so we are doing too much bitching and not enough driving" season.

There are 6 inches of snow on my poor 7 right now

Whats the point of making another thread? Everything has already been said.

Exactly, hope you guys see how ridiculous this is. It's just a ******* club. No one gives a **** about all this bullshit. I brought this here cause it's Canadian content and not everything has been said.

The RX Club had spent way too much time and effort to let two people de-face it and air out their dirty laundry. There's no mention of the countless hours and late nights required to pull some of these events together. There's no mention of all the sponsors who contributed to our cause. Just two selfish people who had to bring the club down with them. We had a great time at the Bruce County meet, MOM was the biggest ever. And we did it without these two people.

Cheers, hope to see you guys out this year.

Thanks to all who came out. Your support is appreciated.

Mike,

I sent you a PM. I am guessing that you are referring to me as one of the two people above. As I did in my PM to you I am apologizing to you and all that wasted their time reading the thread for my participation in it. I shouldn’t have allowed myself to get dragged into the discussion. That said, please note that I have never said an ill word about the club since I left and I have applauded you and the rest of the committee for their work post my departure. I appreciate as well as anyone else how hard it is to give up your free time to do something to the benefit of others. But maybe you and the other committee members can take a look into why I was being attacked by what appeared to be your current committee members et al.

Interesting reading there... lol I'm no member but I can say all I've had are great experiences with people from the club and this forum in purchasing, selling, or trading items and general lending a hand stuff.

Back to your regular rotary channel...

haha!

Yeah I'm sure there's some around, check out the for sale section. Worse comes to worse, have Joe from R.P.M. to make one for you.

Oh, is this Jake's dad?

I know a place that might care more about this subject...

www.rxclubofontario.com

But really, who cares, it happened it's over with, just let the bullshit compost, and lets be friends, and fight global cooling.

I'm really bored because all the roads out of town are closed.

Yeah, this is nothing compared to the DeLorean club (ironically named the DOA...DeLorean Owners Association).

ironically, i initially went there to get away from the slamming in the threads here . seemed like a nice idea to have a provincial forum, but I just don't have enough time to post everywhere ... the canadian section here works for me
