Python RX7
Just picked up a python rx7. Through searching I have found out little pieces of information, but I was wondering if anyone has any more info (if you are not from the ottawa area, then you may not know what the python rx7 is). And if anyone on here also has one.....

Haha, I was looking at it tonight and the only thought in my mind was that it needs to be lowered..... One of the changes that may just happen over the winter

I'm hoping to get more info on the product though. Any thoughts on what years they were being produced? I understand that the owner of fibrecan has passed away; are there any of his employees out there that can provide info, etc?

You know, every guy that has an Rx7 has a different car..Period.
Even if it is stock, they have put their "touch" into it somehow.
So for those who go "What the Heck??" there's is always someone looking back at you... wondering where you got "your taste in cars" to do what you did to yours(or the guy that had it before you and you now own)....lol!
(answer: you don't have to like it..because it is MINE!..go get your own!)
It does look fast.,.standing still though...haha!

I think it looks amazing. But I'm more partial to the blue with white stripe scheme they had on the website back then. Really unique car!!

Looks great.
The shop did different variations of the swap,
from just body work, to swapping the FB body onto the camaro chassi.
Yours looks very well kept, From a few years ago I remember a gentleman paying $ 35K for a compelted swap. ( full camaro drivetrain , ( brakes , suspension, rear end and a T56 6 speed tranny and swapable rear end ) was also red.
Look forward to checking car out at next meet

Thanks guys. I went to Rideau Carleton cruise night on Wednesday night and it was unreal the amount of attention it received. The hard part is figuring out what parts came from what car so i can replace the ones that need replacing.
I did find? Tucked away in old parts boxes, a fibrecan python business card which is pretty neat
