Protest @ Icbc Headquarters
check out www.15years.com for more info on why
but heres a brief glimpse
they recenently released a study they had performed which stated that vehicles that have been imported are 40% more likely to be involved in a collision... well they had to have been using magic math as once the study had been broken down piece by piece by a professional statistician we found the number to be closer to 19%...
they spent money out of there 250million profit margin to perform this study, because TC would not fit the bill, TC felt that there is not enough statistical data at this time to have a conclusive study...
it also turns out that ICBC used the same data that TC provided in another study but just reworked the numbers....
they made a claim that there are an estimated 200 vehicles being imported each month, but wait a second that only works out to 2400 per year, and in the TC study they had well over 12,000 coming in per year, it peaked at 17,000 in 05, so where are the other 12-14k vehicles that were being imported before? i know it hasnt slowed down any... so maybe this is another error by ICBC or it was a previously unnoticed error by TC in there study...
either way they are trying to pull the wool over our eyes and change the laws with out any sort of opposition...
if you want to know more about this fight and the other battles the IVOAC(imported vehicles owners association of canada) at www.15years.ca would be the place to look...
