I have no respect for neons or any other chrysler product. they are complete garbage.
Neons are the new age LeBarons.
cash:performance its such a waste of money.
i've saw transport trucks run faster in the 1/4 mile than alot of the neons lol

 

lol I completely agree but I found it funny that they chose neons to turn into their track cars and kinda respected them for that. The drag car is built much better than the track one and has a nicely built(at least it looks nice) 2.4L (from the srt-4s? ) with a pretty big turbo in there.. I haven't seen it out of storage yet but we'll see how fast it is this spring. After all.. they could have just built another civic to blend into the crowd.

 

Yea a lot of the neons guys are now swapping srt4 motors into their neons. Its cool to have a turbo motor in a lightweight car like the neon. some are probably making good hp number as well. I just dont see the logic only having 2 gears on solid traction.
As a daily driver and kept stock i love the neon. Great on gas, and in my eyes work horses. My car has never let me down.....besides, when i wanna be cool i roll out the gtx
