No, not really. You would have to look at it pretty hard.
The bigger wheels and the kit you've got on disguise the ride height.

If you're already experiencing trouble bottoming out and what not, don't do anything to the height level.

Don't let you stripping down the FD down to essentially a rollin chassis discourage you In the process of choosing the colour you want. It can be done as I proved It, as did a few others. I personally think the colour I went with would look fantastic on yours. Thats why I went with It as I got the Idea from another FD.

It's tough to say when I will be "unveiling" the FC, I keep creating downtime on It.

Smitter - you just click on the insert image tab on the control panel, it looks like an envelope. I think you'll be fine with an aftermarket spring/shock set up. They all lower the car different amounts. Just select the one with least drop, which I think is racing beat. If fact I think Mr. Zoom has some for sale cheap.

I don't like the wheel gap on mine plus I don't mind the tighter handling the new shocks and springs will bring.

Silverrotor - you're crazy if you think I would ever do what you did with your ride. I just don't have the patience.

I think I am going with the stormy blue mica. If I hate it I'll just shoot myself.

Looks great Charn. The stormy blue would look good on it. Not too contrasting with the montego blue either.

Mounted the H & R Spings on KONI Yellows yesterday. Dropped the ride height a little more than I was expecting but it is growing on me.

I also added an extra silencer today as well. The car had a downpipe to midpipe with cat to HKS catback. I added a silencer to the midpipe. It really helped with some of the droning from the previous setup, but she is still fairly loud.

I took the winter tires of the 328 as well and through in a couple of pics since I love the new stance with the M3 rims. I love mounting new wheels on a car.

I'm sorry but I think that was all the ideas a brain your size could produce. Nothing left to steal.

This is the sellor I purchased from. Showed up in about 10 days with no duty or tax charges. They have a bunch for sale, even a carbon fiber version if you care for saving a couple of ounces.

New Set Up

Well it has been an eventful week getting prepared for the tuning day. The saga started two Sunday's ago when it was discovered that my secondary turbo on the twins was pooched. (My fault for not checking their end/shaft play before installing them.) Anyhow with very little time before BDC arrives I had very little in terms of choices. Find a set of used twins, rebuild a set or go single. Well the two pics below tell you what I decided.

The only way I could get a turbo on the car in short notice was to go with a kit. Rx7store was the only one that had one in stock. I have had bad experiences in the past waiting for parts to show up from the 7store so I opted to drive down to Columbus and pick it up. Thanks to my buddy for keeping me awake on the ridiculous drive there and back. We left on Wednesday at 3:30am and got home for dinner the same night. Jim and Darryl at RotaryDynamics were a bit swamped to handle a turbo kit last week as they are preparing 10 cars for the dyno this week. I called on my buddy Joe at RPM and he was able to fit me in. Thanks to Joe, Luke, Garth and Dan at RPM for squeezing me into their schedule and helping install the GT35r kit on Thursday.

And then thanks to Enzo at Autobahn Speed Tuning for helping me find a VW downpipe gasket to seal a leaking v-band and silicone couplers that fit the kit perfectly.

I spent more time on the car than working last week but at least I am ready for tuning again. (Mutters to self - please don't blow up, please don't blow up, please don't blow up)

My car has a stalker

The story starts a few months back when I someone started leaving me notes on my car while parked outside my office.

I can't remember the exact wording but they would always end with.

"Call Me, Love Paula". (with the phone number)

Curiosity was killing the cat but I did not call her. I preferred to think of her as some hot woman that wanted me. (Plus I am married)

The messages on the car started to take a turn for the worse after I had ignored a few. She commented on changes to the car and how I had the money to spend on car and sounded bitter.

Finally, yesterday a woman yells at me from across the street as I get out of my car. She introduced herself and explained that she bought the car new with her ex-husband many years ago. I guess he got to keep the car since I bought it from him. She also decided to tell me that they had sex in it. She apologized for stalking me. Oh and she wasn't the "Hot Paula" I was dreaming about. I have had the car detailed a few times since buying it but I can't help but want to get it cleaned again.

Hopefully Paula's notes will cease to exist.

What you don't know was this was all an elaborate distraction. Dom was having sex in your BMW while you were talking to her
