Mazda Confirms Their Sports Car Concept Will Have A New Rotary Engine Called 'SkyActiv-R'

Although Mazda rotary sports car rumours are a dime a dozen, I'm still unreasonably excited.

If they put a list up to officially sign in for one I wouldn't hesitate..and I'm sure there are a whole bunch of people who would also do the same.

I say mazda should give us the opportunity to show how much we would stand behind a true next generation high performance rotary....

 

I'd say they're off to a good start. Styling is really good. Just wish they would have told us a few more details about the drivetrain itself. I'd like to see and drive one before I'd sign up to buy one. That and I really need another rotary like a hole in the head.... lol.

Yeah...I figure realistically it will be a $70k car. In between new gtr/ new supra / new nsx and the rx8.
