First, I want to say YESSSSSSSSSSSS !
This morning, after dropping off my brother at work, I went to crappy tire, bought one of those el-cheapo floor jacks at 30$ since the previous one I had had died (after many years of honnest work) and finished the replacement of my alternator on the POS 626.
Then, I figure, I'll go spend some time bend over my FD hood, trying to find more problems. I always seem to find some.
Anyway, I'm there just watching the hoses, and the hose diagram, trying to memorize and learn every hose... and I stubled accross 2 hose nozzles, with 2 silicone hoses unplugged. I'm like, uhh... I usually find empty nozzles, but not with 2 unplugged silicones hoses right next to them. A quick look around, and I see 2 solenoids, and this is where the 2 unplugged hoses' other ends are plugged. Quick look at the diagram, "Dude! These are the turbo pre-control AND wastegate control solenoids!"
No wonder my car had boost issues!
I HAD BEEN LOOKING TO RESOLVE THIS BOOST ISSUE FOR MONTHS!!!!
Now, I made sure I tie-wrapped those 2 hoses back int heir respective places, and hopefully this just solved the only major issue I had with the car.
Since my hood is all taken appart right now and I'm still waiting on parts, I can't test it right now, but I have a VERY good feeling about this!!
Thank the rotary Gods for the time I had to waste this morning! Had I not unbloted that ONE little tiny 10mm bolt that hold the pressure chamber in place, I wouldn"t have found the source of this big problem.
Plus, it's sunny, warm, birds are singning (I think I'll take the sling shot out for practice later on)... it's a beautiful day in rotary heaven (o:

Who,
Your still running the stock twins? Do you have a replacement ECU or just a piggy back? I thought you had a single turbo setup. In any case if your running a single turbo I doubt it will make a difference, and if your not but using a full replacement ecu I doubt it will make a difference. But it you have the twins and a piggy back you might have just found your problem

I still use the twin setup and I'm pretty sure it will always be the case.
I'm(or will be this year) running on a downpipe, midpipe, cat-back, double K&N air airtake, efini Y-pipe, boost gauge, Brembo slotted rotors and Hawk HP+ pads and most importantly a TUNED (by Mr. Steve Kan) PFC.
(o:
My other mods are not *really* performance-based:
Running all 9s NGK spark plugs, silicone vacuum hoses, AST and other useless systems like the air pump disabled, cool stereo system, nice saphirre mica blue paint job...

but how could these be unplugged? you are talking about those in front of the UIM? hmm, could it be that we installed 6mm there?
those hoses are so bent, it's weird they unplugged.

It's wierd you didn't notice that. But with a pfc and the twins that should be your problem with boost. You should tie strap those down. And if your running larger hose as puma said I've got some smaller hose that I can bring to the Ottawa cruise if you want to replace it.

Puma: It was 3 mm hoses. But there are also electrical wires (the air pump wires) passing through that area and they might've helped pulling the hoses. It's strange that the 2 hoses came off too.
Anyway, I did tie-wrap them back in place now (o:
Raven: Quoting you "It's wierd you didn't see that"... just refer to my thread title (o;
Neo: All set, except the car is only getting tuned in june... 2 week late )o: It's alright though, I'll just have to be careful with the boost levels.
