Not selling..........yet.........just wondering?
Hey guys,
I'm not selling my car just yet....not sure if I ever will. But I want some opionions of what you guys/gals might think its worth......
90 GX Base model, Red with near perfect Black interior. 178,000kms on the body, and unknown km's on the S4 N/A motor.... The car has been re-painted before and has a few spots showing on the front quater panel. I recently hit a cat at a very high speed and it cracked the bottem of the front bumper....its not really noticeable....but its broken
Things that I have done :
GXL 4 piston calipers installed
S4 GXL LSD diff installed
17" x 9" and 17" x 8" 5Zigen Typhoon rims with brand new rear tires (255 40/17)
I custom made a single 2.5" exhaust
Things that the car needs/or has to be installed:
Windsheild
Energy Suspention Urethane bushings
Areo Mirrors (getting painted body colour)
New sunroof panel
I have a set of JIC coilovers on thier way from Japan with camberplates (1 is possibly blown)
So what do you think?

Thanks for the honest responses....I kind of expected to get responses like "Hey I'll give you $50".
Another thing: would having all the emissions removed really hurt the re-sale value? Do you guys out west have e-testing?

^^ Not in Calgary we dont , though I might be wrong , but I sure as hell dont remember EVER doing emission tests.. But you would have to do a province inspection thing , but thats just at Canadian tire and doesnt take long.

the whole emissions issue really depends on who you sell it to.
most people don't want to buy a car that won't pass e-test, but if they are looking at RX-7s anyways then maybe they are aware of the issue.
i like your car , and some of your aftermarket items will push up the sale price.
so i think at least around $5k is reasonable.
i am wondering about this myself, i'm just always afraid that i won't get any of the money back that i put into the car...

Yeah man.....I'm in waaaay too far to get out of rotaries.
The reason for possibly selling would be to put a real nice downpayment on a shop.....so I can fix everyone's rotay powered cars
No worries if I sell my current ride.....I have 3-4 more FC/FB's still to fix up.....

I figure if people want quality and honest work done on there RX's.....they will travel to have it done right. I'm looking at shops in the Walkerton/Hanover area....so I would be a 2 hour drive from most major cities.
