Hey guys just wanted you all to know that there is a new mehcanic shop opened in Pickering. Although the shop is new the mechanic is not. Wayne Yeates worked with a prominent Rotary Specialist in the GTA for a number of years and has been a certified mechanic for a lot of years.

He has personally worked on my cars for the last 15yrs since I owned rotaries so I can vouch for the quality of his work.

This makes him a bad mechanic? Mazdees customers wouldn't be leaving for no reason; they must trust him to some degree.

 

well from what i've heard he didn't quit ... but got fired ... which makes things a little different

Fire/quit doesn't determine whether he is a good mechanic or not. And as for stealing customer, who wouldn't if they are setting up business, hell I would have taken a contact list of all past customers with me. If he did get fired, who knows why? And that's his business? Grade him on how he establishes his business, looks after his customers, and "MOST IMPORTANTLY", what he does when there's a problem. Put it this way, what if you knocked up Jim's daughter, never finished high school, beat up a teacher and smokes dope? Given the positive feedback he has gotten since he set up shop would it really matter??
