New 450HP 3rotor mid-engine Mazda Furai concept car.
Wouldn't this be a great time for Mazda to attempt making a 3 rotor out of the 16X design? At first I hated the front grill, but watching that video over and over again for the past 2 weeks or so made me fall in love with it.
here is a sound clip.

That has to be one of the best looking designs I've seen in quite a while. The fact that it is a mid-engine 3-rotor is the icing on the cake. Good thing they aren't making it or else I'd have to sell a kidney!
Of course it left the Porsche in the dust, they are using the 3 rotor out of the Courage Mazda prototype car (you know, the same one they used before switching to the four banger), and the Furai is essentially the same race car with different panels.

Probably just because all of us journalists want to road test it. No serious indications of putting it into production from Mazda.
