Nervous and excited

Hey guys
Just had to share because I know the wife doesn't wanna hear about it anymore. My car will finally be going to the bodyshop this Monday morning to have the rockers completely rebuilt. Im excited to finally make some real progress on the car after having it for a years now. But I'm also a little nervous that we're gonna find more serious problems as well. With a little luck we'll just need the rockers done and then we can move onto the next step to get it ready for the road this spring. Thanks for reading my rant and letting me get it out lol.

Hey pkock ,That's not nervous that is just the shakes from the adrenaline flowing from being too excited, you will just love her that much more .. ( The car I mean ) It's always a good feeling when gaining on a project .. It seems like it takes for ever to get things done sometimes but then at a certain point it all comes together .. No one will listen to me anymore either so I took a ice cream pail drew a big happy face with big wide eyes on it put my good luck hanggliding hat on it and it sits there by my lathe a smiling and a listening as long as I want to talk , to hell with everyone else they are all crazy anyway .. Have a good one! enjoy!!

My wife never cares to hear much about the plans for my car. And she certainly doesn't share in the excitement either.

On the same note, I sure don't feel all giddy about a 40% off coupon for the craft store and start shouting "where's the car, where's the car, woooo hoooooo"

Now give me a 40% off coupon for the speed shop and you'd see a little kid jumping up and down!

Battery terminals if you have power and it is not cranking. Cold weather and old cars with bad connections = headaches.
Good luck with your 7.

I was thinking starter but I guess the terminals could be the problem. I thought if it had power it wouldnt be the termianls though.

Could it have something to do with the factory alarm? I just remembered that I had seen the alarm light flashing before but I have no idea how the factory alarm system works.
