Hey guys.

I'm not very mechanical and I need help getting my 1980 RX-7 up and running. I've given it a tune up but need to install an exhaust system, replace the speedometer cable, replace seats, etc.

Anybody live near Missisauga that knows enough about 1st Gens. that can help me or recommend a good mechanic near me?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My advice is this, do what you can now, the simple stuff. Replace your seats, etc, when it comes down to the mechanical stuff, find someone to help you figure things out from the FSM. Best bet is to learn how to make your car work, and I guarantee it'll bring you closer to your car.

In the event that you do want a mechanic, I'm sure most mechanics are compotent enough to replace damaged parts. Just keep them away from the engine.
