ive posted a few times throughout the winter inquiring about good places to get a good paint job and some minor body work taken care of but the threads never really materialized into anything with some good information regarding places.

I plan to take my car in within the next month to get this done and have no idea where abouts to go. I want a good quality job done but dont want to pay out my ***....say 2-2.5 G....

please post your opinions, ideas and experience.

2-2.5G for a quality paint job, I'd start by PMing "classicauto" . He definitely can talk the talk, and by the look of the pictures of cars from his shop he can walk the walk.

That's my take. Even if it's a bit of a drive to take the car there, I'm probably taking mine there (despite the 5hr trek from Ottawa) when I get it painted. Partially because of that thread and his work, and partly because I feel more comfortable having someone who knows and appreciates rx7s work on my car.

I agree with ^^^^ although I have never personally seen his work so my opinion cant do wonders he conducts himself very well on the board and after following multiple threads regarding his body work which also include pictures I would feel comftorable taking my car there.
