My 10AE

I figured I would post up some pictures of the car for those interested to see how far its come along. I don't really have any 'build' photos, just the ones I took today

It desperately needs to be cleaned and detailed inside and out, but I got a guy who's going to do that for me, as well as throw a lick of paint on the front bumper.

All work was done by me. Every bit of the car, front to back, is redone. I did some tuning and timing adjustments today and I'm very pleased with the performance.

Yeah I'm pretty lucky there is no rust on the car anywhere. Im thinking of getting a front lip, some sideskirts and a carbon fibre rear diffusor for it. Also thinking of replacing the exhaust with an HKS one.

I had to create a test pipe of approx 24 inches long to mate the Racing Beat downpipe to the HKS catback. Since its a catback, its designed to work with a cat, so the inlet to the HKS system is actually about 2.5 In. Im going to revise the test pipe and change the flange on the inlet of the HKS system to open it up to full three inches as proper.

And heres the sound difference between an HKS with no cat and Racing Beat Rev II.

Thanks! It goes not bad. Its like a Ferrari compared to my FR-S. Im having some difficulty with the turbocharger so Im going to switch over from the hybrid to a single, likely a T04E.

Yah Man. Its full retard loud. I didn't like it at first because of the obvious noise difference.............but what the hell hahaha.

When I build the downpipe for the single turbo, I might run a presilencer.

You ever think of incorporating and running the RacingBeat presilencer?
They are a stout unit, although heavy.(you should know that since you just took it off..haha!)

Sounds sweet, nice tone, though a little loud, I'd agree.

Please tell me more about your pre-turbo intake setup! Looks like the afm directly on the turbo with a filter?

Mine is playing hell on me with my turbo inlet pipe and cracking / loosening up in me...

It just a silicone coupler to attach the afm to the turbo. Of course everything needs to be out of the way. Problem with it is it sucks in hot air off the rad. Since I got a power fc now theres no afm so I run a pipe to behind the headlight to draw in some cooler air.

Could u please do a video outside the car with an idle + rev? I'm really looking at getting this exhaust and i wanted to hear more sound clips of it. And also a launch + drive by video from the outside would be awesome too.
