The ALMS Audi just set an all time lap record at Mosport today! 1:05.829 in qualifing!!!!!!!! The fastest I have ever gone in my RX-7 is 1:37's! Thats only 32 SECONDS A LAP faster than me! HOLY ****!

 

Holy Crap!! That thing was moving!

 

It would lap me every 3 laps or less! WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW

 

It was fantastic to witness, a great weekend except for the rain.

 

ALMS is awesome, even tho I hate Roger Penske.

 

I've forgotten how fast those LMP1 cars go. The Audi's appeared to be running electric motors! They were so quiet. All you could hear was the gearbox whine.
The LMP2 cars were alot noisier.
I wanted to see the Mazdaspeed entry get by the 3rd place guy. He was clearly faster than he was but the other guy defended his line really well. Unfortunately traffic played a huge roll in the race. The cars got out of order really quick so the Mazdaspeed entry had no chance of getting by the 3rd place car.
The GTC entries was boring. Just a bunch of C6R's. What happened to the Aston Martins??
The Ferrari's in GT defended their position really well. I was kinda wondering what happened to the speed of the Flying Lizards? I thought those guys were suppose to be fast? They were more like obstacles out there.
I had to leave early to attend a BBQ party. It was an Audi weekend so there really wasn't much of a point to stick around.
I liked how they brought over 8 R8's from Alberta. I loved how the black one looked.
