Mini Hamilton/Niagara meet
I'm heading out that way again this weekend, and Saturday I'm planning on cruising the VW from Hamilton to out to John's Bug Shop. I figure I'll leave Hamilton around 9:30-10 am and the bug shop sometime around noon.
Anyone interested in joining (QEW out, sideroads back) meet at the gas station at the northwest corner of king and centennial (right at the bottom of the mountain, with the country style, etc.) around 9:30/10. Or meet us at John's Bug Shop, and cruise back.
Post up here if you are coming, or call the cell on Saturday morning. 416-702-5966, axe for Jamie.
I'm not waiting for anyone, so no bitching if you miss it.

Well, the VW did pretty well, even without the com-er-rad-er-ee. John even gave me free parts for making the trip. Cruises pretty nicely around 70-75 mph, and aside from a little looseness in the steering box, and the fact that it's lap-belts only, it's a pretty sweet ride that turns more heads than any car I have owned.
So, who wants to trade for a FG dune buggy?
