Thanks 69.
Not sure yet on the color George. You should look around and let me know what you think. I'll come up with some ideas as well and we'll see what we come up with. Maybe other forum members have some pics of different coloured irons in a red engine bay?

Is it just me or did you miss the bottom left side of the plate? Were you usually put the hylmar on during assemble? If so would you not create some uneven surface when you bolt it together.

I'm interested to know how much this would cost. I have a few parts here that could use this treatment.

Hey Brent, those pics look real nice!! I'd like to check out a set in person sometime.
Could you pm me what it would cost to get a set done? Maybe I'll send you all my irons from now on

Thanks. I almost want to put them on display in my shop there so pretty. I ground the set for my spare engine today, now I just need to decide whether I should go half bridge, full bridge or jport. MMMMMMMMMM, Jport. Makes me drool just thinking about it.

I should be putting the engine together the end of next week. Just waiting on the last few pieces. I'll post some new pics then.

After a few delays, it looks like the engine will be going together at the end of the week. Just waiting on the last few parts. Here's some pics of the new frost plugs, oil plugs and everything ready to go together. Oh, and the water jacket mods.

that's a cool pic of the water jacket modification. do you offer that service in-house or did you get that somewhere else?

Everything you see in this thread is done in house. Except the heat treat of course, that I send out. Unlike many of the shops around I'm willing to offer any or all of these services to other shops or individuals that are building engines. Of course I prefer to do the build as well, and can offer a discount on most of the services for customers having the entire build done.

Finally had a chance to put the keg together this afternoon. I'll be assembling the rest tomorrow and I'll post a few more pics. Didn't have time for any pics while assembling the keg, the wife had to go to work and the baby was in the playpen while I finished assembly. There's more than enough assembly pics on the forum anyway. Here's a couple anyway.

Here's the final pics. I installed the eng. yesterday. I may post more pics as everything else gets installed. George is wiring up the haltech and mounting the turbo, intercooler etc...

Brent
PS; Sorry about the sideways pic. I don't know how to save it so it stays rotated.
