wasnt to bad last night, as i suspected tons of folks were missin gears the fricken srt4's are takin over i think... there was **** loads of them .. 6-7. seen a busa, did high 11's @ 133mph. best car of the night was a camaro that did low 9's @140mph. this guys 60' time musta been .5 sec or something. i was hopin he would clean up the busa but he only did one run by himself. heh, 2 1st gen rx7's they were in pretty rough shape. yep... thats my report. gonna go to the autocross side next weekend prolly. sucks to watch but it looks like a blast.

I was a great showing for April. can beat the entertainment value, only $20 if you wanna race and $5 as a spectator.

Ya pretty excelent turn out. One of those SRT-4's had the mopar stage 3 emblem.. and ran 12s.. thats fast for FWD.. damn thats fast for anything. Yeah the busa did decent.. it did manage 10.70 for one run. Nice 06 Saleen Mustang too. I saw a 2nd gen 7 there with white marker on the window i didn't see him run though. Mazdaspeed 6 was also there.. he ran a few times.. nothing too impressive but still decent i think 16secondish.

I went this tonight and had a blast!

Last year I ran one race down the strip just to see how fast my (then) newly aquired 85 gsl would go. I managed a dismal 19.688 @ 74.45 mph with a stock engine and an automatic transmission.

This year was much better. I now have a 5 spd, rb header and aluminum flywheel on the same stock engine. My best run this year so far was 17.094 @ 80.72 mph.

I even managed to beat dansuxx's street ported GS by a very slim margin.

It was really cool racing another fb most of the night. We were usually within a 1/4 second of each other. I'd always take the lead off the start due to the lower inertia of the flywheel, and by the 1/8th mile he'd be caught up to me with a virtual neck and neck at the finish line.

There was a TII there last night parked. Stripped down, cage'd... made to race. Never saw it race though.

I'll be there with my white one to see what it can do on the 1/4.

Wouldn't mind a rip down the track in your passenger seat either to feel what real power in an fb feels like. If that's okay with you.
