Meet on sep 23(chalk river area)

Hey guys, i am posting a link to a thread on the ottawamazda boards. They are having a meet sep 23 at chalk river I believe. I am going to try and make it.

http://www.ottawamazda.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=895

This is mostly for ottawa people, and though most of the guys from ottawamazda are protege/3 guys, but rx is welcome as well.

i will be back in Ottawa by September, but i might make it out for this, especially if some rx is out also.

edit:
Nik, your car got broken into? damn, that sucks. anything really damaged/taken other than the window?

Yeah, the morons stole my 50$ 486 laptop that i run with haltech(i'm sure its found its way to the garbage by now), my power inverter, my fire extinguisher, and about 50 cents worth of pioneer bucks + change.

They didnt take my tools, electronic boost controller, or cell phone. Only a truly incompetent thief needs to break a window to break into an FC. I suspect it was some dumb teenagers.

It was in my underground parking garage. I am just happy they didn't try to steal the car. From now on I will put on my secret antitheft system, only with a towtruck they could take it.

I can't access the other forum right now for details, but chalk river is on hwy 17 on the way to north bay. About 2 hours west of Ottawa. We'd be meeting at corel center (scotiabank place). Time to be determined.

I won't be there guys. My rotax season is basically over (well, actually, I never had one)...too much **** on the go right now. Next year should be back to normal...or better!

Ok, so it's still on despite the weather forecast. Most likely will be in light rain/drizzle. I am going either way, see you guys tomorrow at scotiabank place at 9!

it was just Nik and i representing the rotax.
well, it was an interesting drive up. it started off pretty wet, but got better as the day went on. we took some twisty roads, and a member of the Mazda club had a little incident.
i had a good time. nice cars and good food. and i was going up to that area anyways on the weekend to visit my parents.
