Mazda pays us to Test Drive their Cars :)
So I heard about this event, signed up online....and went into Northfield Mazda (Kitchener, ON) today with my sister...
She tried out a Mazda 3, and I of course had to try the 2010 Rx8..
Lucky for me they had one there...and the top of the line Rs? model....Pretty sweet car with Factory Body Kit, 19" wheels, Recaro seats, etc.....
Needles to say it was a nice car, but too luxury for me. Less is More when it comes to me, and likely most of you guys here, hence why we like rx7's
BUT.......for all of you...
Go to a Mazda dealer, test drive a car, and they pay you 25, 50 or 100 bucks no strings attached I was completely honest telling the sales guy that I wasn't planning on buying a new rx8, but was just taking Mazda up on their offer. He was fine with that.
So go everyone to Mazda and get paid to drive a new car!!!
I got lucky with the rx8 as it is a mild day today. I was told they aren't letting the rx8 go on the road if the conditions are not decent.
I got a few cell phone pics that i'll probably upload soon.
Nick
P.S. Happy New Year

Oh he's definitely keeping the 4! Our local Mazda dealership in Owen Sound is crap. I'd love to see the look on their faces at an RX4 rolling onto the lot with Buggy demanding to see their microfiche and having a compression test. They wouldn't know what hit 'em.

I posted this a little while ago. I went to the dealership on my lunch break. The guy asked if I really wanted to drive the cars and I said not really ( I kind of did but I didn't have too much time). We went in his office and we completed the documents. I will be getting the $25 card.

hmmm, this is awesome! I already signed up for it, but I don't know if I will have the time to go, since it ends tomorrow at 11:59pm! But anyways...was it a test drive around the block, or did they set up some sort of a course with pylons for us to drive around?
